Consular approach
On Monday, July 10, 2023, His Excellency Mr. Assiélou Félix TANON, presented the Letters of Credence accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire to the Republic of Ghana, to His Excellency Mr. Nana Addo Dankwa AKUFO-ADDO, President of the Republic of Ghana.
The said ceremony took place at the “Jubile House”, Presidential Palace in the presence of the delegation of the Embassy, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of Ghana and the officials of the Presidency.
During the meeting, the Ambassador transmitted the fraternal greetings of His Excellency Mr. Alassane OUATTARA, President of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, as well as of the Ivorian people to the President of Ghana and undertook to respect the laws of Ghana and to work for the revitalization and strengthening of the cooperative relations that exist between Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana.
After welcoming his guest, the President of the Republic of Ghana recalled the historical, geographical, blood and fraternity ties that unite Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire and expressed the wish that during his mission, His Excellency Mr. Assiélou Félix TANON, contributes considerably to the strengthening and intensification of the relations of friendship and cooperation that exist between our two countries.
As a reminder, His Excellency Mr. Assiélou Félix TANON submitted the Figurative Copies of his Letters of Credence on Wednesday June 14, 2023, to His Excellency Mr. Kwaku AMPRATWUM-SARPONG, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of the Republic of Ghana.
