Consular approach
On Monday, March 06, 2023, in the company of political figures, traditional authorities, members of the Diplomatic Corps and Representatives of International Organizations accredited to Ghana, His Excellency Mr. Tiémoko MORIKO, Ambassador of Côte d'Ivoire to Ghana took part in the ceremony celebration of the 66th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Ghana held in Adaklu in the Volta region.
The President of the Republic of Ghana in his welcome speech welcomed the participation of the President of Guinea-Bissau, current Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), His Excellency Mr. Umaru Sissoco Embalo , guest of honor at the event and reiterated the government's determination to ensure a speedy recovery of Ghana's economic situation.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo also called on Ghanaians to stand united and work together for the common goal of removing obstacles to national development recalling that it was with a united front that the ancestors of the country fought to break colonial rule 66 years ago.
