Depuis le 02 février 2015, les agents pénitentiaires sont entrés en grève après une première tentative survenue en novembre 2014, au motif que leurs revendications n’auraient pas été satisfaites. 06-02-2015

Le Ministre de la Justice, des Droits de l’Homme et des Libertés Publiques tient à informer la communauté nationale et internationale que le gouvernement n’a jamais interrompu les négociations en cours et qu’il est à la recherche de solutions idoines. Le gouvernement précise que certaines revendications ont déjà connu un aboutissement heureux et s’engage à poursuivre les négociations.

Cependant, l’impatience des agents d’encadrement pénitentiaire n’est pas de nature à favoriser un dialogue serein.

Par ailleurs, dans un contexte marqué par la grâce présidentielle, il est inadmissible que des personnes ayant bénéficié de la grâce présidentielle soient maintenues en détention à cause de cette grève, alors qu’elles devraient être en liberté.

Le Ministre de la Justice, des Droits de l’Homme et des Libertés Publiques invite par conséquent les agents pénitentiaires à mettre fin à leur mouvement afin de donner une chance aux négociations en cours.
